Introduction

Hello everyone, thank you for reading my blog.

This is my first posting, and I hope you all find it intresting and informative.  I will talk about an array of subjects, ranging from media bias to family to Washington and local politics.  I'm 27 years old, live in SW Florida.  I am a public servant, proud to serve the citizens of Florida.  I am an avid reader, and I will try to get all the information possible on a story before I post an opinion of it on this blog.  Thank you again for reading my blog.  Feel free to post your own opinions, and suggestions are always welcome.

I will use my first posting on this blog to make a couple of political endorsements.  For Governor in my great state of Florida, I am voting for Charlie Crist.  I feel he will be a continuation of Jeb Bush's past eight years of fiscal responsibility and unprecedented growth.  He has been a public official, working in Florida for the past 18 years.  He is not a Washington insider like his opponent, Democrat Jim Davis.  I feel Mr. Crist will be a great governor, and I ask that my fellow Floridians cast their vote for him on November 7th.

The other candidate I would like to tell you about is Joe Negron.  He is running for U.S. Congress.  Many of you have heard about this race, due to this seat being recently vacated by the Mark Foley scandal.  Mr. Negron is a good man, a family man, and will work for you.  This congressional district covers much of Palm Beach, Glades, Highlands, and Charlotte counties.  Those of you in this district need to remember when you vote that Mark Foley is still on you ballots!  When you cast a vote for Foley, you're really voting for Joe Negron.  The ballots were already set when Foley resigned, and we tried to get them changed, but the Democratic challenger, Tim Mahoney, sued to keep Foley's name on the ballot, so he can get more votes.

Anyway, this will close my first posting.  I hope you will continue to read this blog, and please feel free to make any suggestions to improve it.  Thank you.
